Steven Frane Bailey, 56, has been arrested following the deadly crash at Park Tavern in St Louis Park, Minnesota.
Bailey drove into the patio of the establishment on Sunday, September 1st, leaving two people dead and four others injured.
He was arrested and booked into the Hennepin County jail on probable cause vehicular homicide.
St. Louis Park police and fire crews responded to the incident along Louisiana Avenue S. just after 8 p.m.
Surveillance footage shows Bailey entering the parking lot and attempting to park before driving into the patio area. At this point, it’s unclear why the driver drove into the patio area – and whether the crash was an accident or otherwise.
According to reports, Bailey has at least two prior DWI convictions in 2012 and June 2014.
The crash killed Kristina Folkerts, a server with a lengthy history to the Park Tavern as her mom also worked there. Folkerts had three children and a GoFundMe has been started to raise money for them.
Four nurses from Methodist Hospital celebrating a colleague were injured in the crash while another one, an ICU coordinator, was killed.
