Human remains found at a home located on Sheridan Avenue in Albany earlier this month has been identified as a missing woman’s.
Tabitha King, 42-year-old, of Colonie, has been missing since March 2024.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect, Steven Herbst, 42, as a result of the discovery.
He has been charged with concealment of a human corpse and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
The body of King was found at the Sheridan Avenue home on July 11 after a search warrant was executed at 301 Sheridan Avenue.

The warrant was in connection to a suspicious death investigation.
An autopsy revealed no signs of foul play in King’s death nevertheless, the homeowner was arrested.
The Colonie Police Department announced King missing in March.
