A man who was killed after a tree fell on his vehicle in Henrico County has been identified as 42-year-old Peter Lottman.
Henrico Police were called to the 800 block of Maybeury Drive for a report of a tree that fell on a vehicle around 4:48 p.m. Sunday.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male deceased in the cab of the pickup truck.
Preliminary investigation indicates Mr. Lottman was traveling north on Maybeury Drive when an oak tree, approximately 50 feet tall and 8 feet in circumference, fell across the road and onto the vehicle.
In a statement, the Henrico County Police Division extended its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Lottman.
