What Happened to Max Azarello?

max azarello manifesto

Outside the New York City courthouse where former President Donald J. Trump was standing trial for a hush money payment gone wrong, one Maxwel Azzarello made a massive statement to the world.

Azzarello, who appeared to have suffered from some mental health issues, published a manifesto about numerous conspiracies online and then in an act of protest, set himself ablaze in Collect Pond Park, right outside that NYC courthouse

According to reports, Max showed up at the scene he selected for his act with copies of his manifesto which he scattered around.

He then doused himself with an accelerant before setting himself on fire.

Maxwell Azzarello, 37, hailed from St. Augustine, Florida.

Prior to his self-immolation, Azzarello had shown off a substack link where his full manifesto – the reason d’etre for his actions could be found.

Azzarello suffered severe burns from the attempted self-immolation and later died.

Registered as an organ donor prior to his act, his two kidneys saved the lives of two people in the days following his death.

His death sparked an intense online debate over his state of mind and the merits, or otherwise, of his massively grandiose claims.

Matt Azzarello Manifesto

Matt Azzarello might have been wacky as hell but he sure knew what he was thinking, having authored a lengthy manifesto which he shared on substack to explain to the world exactly why he had to do what he did.

In the manifesto, he lamented the world order and the powerful who were deceiving the public and vowed to expose all he can about the true workings of their inner circles.

“I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial,” the manifesto read on substack.

“This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery:We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup,”

He had a lot more to say in his lengthy manifesto which can be read here.

Azzarello per his LinkedIn considers himself a private investigative researcher.

Prior to his action, Max Azzarello shared a story on Instagram with the word ‘I love you’ scribbled multiple times.

He also sighted Aaron Bushnell, a U.S. Armed Forces officer who self-immolated in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington D.C as an act of protest against the ongoing war in Gaza.

Azarrello called Bushnell a ‘hero’ on social media and said in his manifesto that while his action was extreme, it was nothing compared to what those in power have planned for the ordinary person.

To my friends and family, witnesses and first responders, I deeply apologize for inflicting this pain upon you. But I assure you it is a drop in the bucket compared to what our government intends to inflict,” he said in the manifesto.
