A delightful young girl from Bennington, Vermont, June Cooper is dead following a tragic accident at Summer Camp.
June, 9, was born to Kate and Jonathan Cooper, a lovely Vermont couple residing in Pownal. She has one sister, Becca.
Jonathan is currently running to be a State Representative on the Democrat ticket.
Like many children, June was excited for her summer camp adventure but it tragically ended in tears for her family as she was reported dead.

June was a delight not only to her family but to all who knew her, described as a lovely soul who loved reading, science, and discussing mythology.
Her family said she had an ‘immense kindness that touched everyone and was a loyal friend’.
Tragically, June’s life would be cut short during a summer camp at Lake Paran in Vermont.
News of her death shocked many who took to social media to mourn.
‘I am so saddened to hear of the loss of June Cooper. I worked with her and her sweet sister two summers ago at Pine Cobble School and she made a lasting impression on me,’ one social media user mourned on Facebook.
To help her family navigate this most difficult period, a GoFundMe has been started to raise money to help with June’s final rites and memorial, among others.
The fundraiser, at the time of this article, had raised an impressive $37,450 USD of its stated $50,000 goal.
The community of Bennington has coalesced around the Cooper family during their tragic time, helping them out with their condolences, messages of support, and finances.
