All Details of the Gavin Dassault Shooting

Gavin Dasaur is a 29-year-old man going about his day when he decided to get involved in an incident of road rage that he may regret for the rest of his life.

No one knows what precipitated the incident but Dasaur might have been better off walking away and his wife would not be a widow right now.

According to a video of the incident shared on social media, Gavin, who drives a black Honda, got into a road confrontation with the unidentified shooter, who drives a white Chevy pickup.

The duo apparently had an issue of some kind and Gavin is spotted walking out of his car holding a pistol and approaching the driver of a white pickup truck, per video of the incident which went viral online.

As he made his approach, he started berating the driver and then attempted to punch him in his car.

Dasaur moved his gun from his right to his left hand to enable him to have a freer limb to punch with, one assumes, but at that point, the driver said he’d had enough and pulled out his own weapon and lit up Dasaur.

He fired a few shots at him and he crumbled to the ground. He did not survive.

Following their investigation and talking to witnesses, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) released the driver of the pickup who had been detained.

Based on their findings and the testimony of witnesses, he was adjudged to have acted in self-defense.

One can certainly see that side of the decision from the police and social media users certainly seem to agree.

On X where the video garnered millions of views, the consensus appeared to be that the driver was justified.

100% justified and a FAFO moment for this idiot..” one popular comment on one of the videos read.

Meanwhile, Cinthya Zamora, Dasaur’s wife, spoke glowingly of her husband and said he didn’t deserve his fate.

“He was a hardworking man that always went out of his way to help anyone and wanted to give the world to me and his family…He did not deserve to die this way. It’s such a tragedy that my husband was murdered in cold blood,” she said.

A real tragedy but sometimes walking away is the best thing one can do from a confrontation.

May he rest in peace.
