A sales engineer from Vienna who made a name for himself in the United States, in Houston, TX specifically, Florian Willfort has sadly died.
Florian died in a yet-to-be-disclosed incident, a tragic moment that has thrown those who knew him personally and professionally into a period of mourning.
Willfort was a daredevil, a man who lived life to the fullest and whose absence would be heavily missed.

25-year-old Florian Willfort, originally from Vienna, Austria grew up in the United States of America where he attended the Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas.
Willfort was a fantastic student, and a leader and partook in many clubs and athletic activities.
He played varsity football and soccer and was a leading member of German club.
His high intelligence and analytical brain were put hard at work in Rubiks Cube Club.

Following High School, Willfort knew he had lofty plans and to achieve them, joined Texas Tech University to study Architecture, Engineering, and Business – a magnificent trilogy!
In college, Florian never slagged off and joined numerous clubs once again, partaking in student government, cheerleading, the Men’s Polo Club, and more!
He also pledged the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
After graduating in 2020 after six years in school, Florian interned at the Turner Construction Company in Dallas, Texas.
He took a novel career year break in 2021 and then joined Plug Power as a Sourcing Engineer, a job he held until June 2022.
He was also a Sales Engineer for KUSTEC – an Austrian company specializing in chillers for the hydrogen industry.
Willfort also worked as a Technical Sales Engineer at WEH Technologies Inc. and an Office Engineer at HENSEL PHELPS.
Florian’s young but extremely accomplished life was cut short in June 2024, when he died of unexpected circumstances.
His cause of death has yet to be revealed.
Florian Willfort lived a life full of love, adventure, and camaraderie, a peek at his Instagram account showed he took time to travel, see new places, and make friends everywhere. He enjoyed running, trekking through mountains, surfing the seas, and any other adventure you could think of.
He will be sorely missed, and may he rest in peace.
