State troopers in New Hampshire arrested a Brentwood woman for wrong-way driving on an interstate and refusing to stop for troopers.
Emily R. Lecuyer, 20, was arrested Sunday, July 21st for driving south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 93.
After troopers called to the scene attempted to stop her, Emily kept driving until she was stopped with a tire deflation device.
New Hampshire State Police received reports of a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Interstate 93 around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Trooper Zachary Bilotta encountered the vehicle near Exit 17 in Concord but Emily refused to heed his emergency lights and continued driving south.
Another trooper, Sgt. Anthony Pratt, managed to successfully deploy a tire deflation device on Lecuyer just north of Exit 16.
Her vehicle eventually stopped just north of the Interstate 393 interchange after encountering an officer from the Concord Police Department.
Emily was arrested on the spot and charged with felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence, and disobeying an officer.
She was transported to the Troop D barracks where she was bailed and released on personal recognizance.
