A young man from Boone NC who had been declared a missing person, Connor Little has reportedly been found, although unfortunately, he had died.
Little was declared missing around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, by a missing persons alert sent out by his family.
Connor had apparently decided to go out and indulge in one of his favorite pastimes, hiking, taking advantage of what appeared to be a clear day with good weather.
He hit one of his favorites, a hiking spot close to the Goshen trail in the area of Mountain-to-Sea trail.
Evidently, the weather switched up on him as it started raining and that is when he went missing, believed to have gotten lost/hurt.
The post triggered a response from multiple local law enforcement and rescue departments including Watauga Rescue who mounted a thorough and evidently effective search for him.
By mid-afternoon Wednesday, June 5th, reports started emerging that Little had been found and was seemingly confirmed by a person in the know.

After Connor Little was found, little information was given out to suggest in what condition he was found in.
It only emerged a few days later that Little had died.

Who is Connor Little, Missing Person in Boone NC?
Connor Little is a Boone NC man who was declared missing by his family on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024.
Little, who worked at Harris Teeter in Boone, went hiking on the day when it started raining and he could no longer be located.
His panicked brother jumped on social media to announce news of his disappearance.
He said Connor had been missing since 3:00 PM 6/4/24.
His car was apparently seen on the parkway at mile marker 287 which is very close to the Goshen Trail.
The family said they thought he had gotten lost/hurt while hiking.
Another post this time from the mom of Little’s girlfriend also confirmed his disappearance.
Sharing a photo of Connor, the disturbed mama wrote: “This is my daughter’s boyfriend. She’s in Greece and is so worried,”
She added that search teams are going back to search for Little the next day.
Connor Little was described as having ‘ashy blonde hair and brown eyes’.
A comment from a co-worker at Harris Teeter emerged on Wednesday confirming Connor was found.
The co-worker said Little was found but his condition was not being disclosed.
Other social media users made the same claim, but without any law enforcement confirmation or the family speaking out, the fear over Connor’s condition remains.
At the moment, all those hoping for Connor’s safety are left with prayers and wishes, hoping that the next update that emerges will be good news.
Tragically, the final update emerged – Connor has died. May he rest in peace.
Connor died on June 5th 2024 and is survived by his father, Charles Little of Wilmington; his mother, Bonnie Haswell Little-Hildebrandt; his sister, Hannah Love Little of Wake Forest; and his girlfriend Clara Catherine Lobsiger of Charlotte.
