A Chicago woman, Bethany Johnson also known as Nene Brooks has been outed as a big part of the chain of events that led to the death of young rapper, LilScoom89.
Lil Scoom was shot and killed recently and word on the street was that he was outed by a female friend.
Text messages that emerged after his death appeared to show the female friend outing him to his enemies or opps.
That put people onto Bethany as they attempted to find out what she had done and what role she actually played in Scoom’s death.

Bethany Johnson has been outed on social media as the female allegedly involved in the sad demise of rapper Lil Scoom.
News emerged at the start of this week that a young rapper from Chicago known as Lil Scoom had been killed.
Scoom was reportedly set up by a female friend who sent messages to his enemies about his location when he came to get his hair done.
He was soon ambushed and killed around 11:50 p.m. Sunday in Chatham in Southside Chicago.
Following his death, reports immediately emerged that he had been badly set up by a friend.
Several social media posts shared a screenshot of a text message between this supposed friend and Scroom’s opponents informing them of his current location.
Not long after Scroom was dead and the entire internet went on a manhunt to identify this person.
It didn’t take long for the name Bethany Johnson aka Nene Brooks to emerge on social media as all eyes turned on her.
Initial reports claimed she had been shot but Nene shared posts on social media to prove she’s still alive and well.
However, she revealed she was hard at work trying to find a way to escape from the city because she felt threatened by the spotlight placed on her.
She also shared other posts later showing herself in an airplane as she claimed to have fled.
The spotlight remains on Bethany Johnson aka Nene Brooks as pissed-off friends of Scroom attempt to find her and make her pay for his death however that is certainly not the way to handle such an issue.
There’s no indication that law enforcement considers Nene as an accessory and if she is she will surely be punished – some people attempting to find her and take the law into their own hands is definitely not the wrong way to go about in this situation!
