A boy’s tragic passing – the death of Beau Miller of Maple Park – has sent an entire community into mourning and left a family completely devastated.

Beau Miller was a vibrant young man, sweet and energetic to his core, a delight for friends and family, and a complete joy to be around.

Little Beau enjoyed life to the fullest and was just at the Genesis of his life on earth with many more dozens and dozens of years of bliss with his family but alas, fate sometimes has other plans.

He died in a tragic and devastating event in June 2024, shattering his family’s hopes and dreams and leaving a community at large in devastation.

Beau Miller was born the son of Brent and Taylor Miller, of Maple Park, Illinois.

Brent Miller according to reports is a Fire Captain with the Maple Park Fire Department, a dedicated man who serves his community with all his heart and all his soul.

His wife, Taylor Miller, also works as a nurse, another job that entails serving others.

Tragically, life threw a wrench into the life of this great couple on Monday, the 10th of June 2024.

Little Beau Miller, the apple of Brent and his wife’s eye, died in a tragic accident in their Maple Park, Illinois community.

The exact circumstances of Beau’s death are yet to be released but it has been confirmed to have been in an accident of some sort.

The stunning death of this sweet child who made everyone he came into contact with happy shocked all and sundry, eliciting messages of despair.

However, the community nevertheless rallied to remain strong for the Miller family and started showering them with beautiful tributes for Beau.

One Kurt Lichtenberg also took the initiative, starting a fundraiser on GoFundMe for Beau Miller that has since taken off like a rocket as Maple Park residents come together to show their love for the bereaved family.

Lichtenberg’s fundraiser, read: “On June 10th, the Miller Family lost their beloved son Beau. Brent, Taylor, Brynlee, the entire Miller family, and all of their friends mourn the loss of Beau. He will forever live in our hearts and will be honored each and every day. Please pray for the Miller family and consider supporting them through this heart-breaking time,”

In a couple of days, over $50,000 had been raised for the Miller family, an incredible amount!

This show of support and love occurred due to many local residents sharing the fundraiser with words of support and getting others to join in.

A resident, Kyle Straughn asked for anyone who could spare some money to donate, revealing that he previously worked with Brent and that Taylor had also been a nurse at the birth of one of his children.

Regarding Beau, Kyle had the following to say: “Beau had previously been in swim with Henry and could always bring a smile,”

He ended by pointing out how the Millers had helped so many people in their community and now deserved to be helped in their time of loss.

The Maple Park FD also called for donations.

“It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of Fire Captain Brent Miller’s son, Beau. Please extend your thoughts and prayers to the Miller family during this absolutely tragic time… The Millers have been a family who have always given to their community. It is now the community’s turn to give back,” their post on Facebook, which called for GoFundMe donations said.

The post concluded with a pledge to perpetually love and support the Millers via prayers and any other means possible.

The sad death of Beau Miller was a horrific tragedy, but its wake saw a community coming together to comfort a family who had previously comforted them.

It is expected that many more would come together for Beau’s memorial, which has been planned for Wednesday, June 19th at St. Mary’s Church located at 123 S County Line Road, Maple Park.

Mass will begin at 12:30 pm after the visitation with a private family burial after mass.
