Austin Behrens, a professional motocross racer hailing from Wayne, New Jersey, has lost his life doing what he loves most after a practice accident ended tragically.

Behrens was not only a motocross racer but an athlete, dog lover, coach, and many other things to many other people.

His sad death has devastated the motocross community across New Jersey, the United States, and the entire world!

At just 28 years old, Austin had a lot more life to live and a lot more things to accomplish but life can be cruel in that way and sadly, he would not have the opportunity to complete the great arc that so clearly lay before him.

Quite tragic, if you think about it.

Who was Austin Behrens of Wayne NJ, Accident, Obituary etc

Austin Behrens was born on 05/12/1996 and hailed from Wayne, New Jersey.

Growing up, Austin showed a fondness for sports and developed into a powerful athlete.

At Wayne Valley High School, he showcased his talents by joining the wrestling and football programs.

However, his love had always been for motocross as he started racing bikes at the age of 3!

According to him, he had no bar risers or fancy seats but the love was there all the same and he and his friends took risks to enjoy the sport they loved the most.

As with everything Austin did, he was a massive hit in motocross and made a name for himself.

Behrens put his passion for motocross into teaching others, becoming an instructor, and helping others learn all about how to excel in the sport he loved the most.

He joined A7 Training after initially working with the Jimmy Weinert Training Facility.

He was also a sponsored rider with the Valley Moto Shop.

A7 Training specializes in on-bike training, physical and mental advice, dietary tips, and race prep for motocross lovers.

Behrens made a name for himself as a top-class trainer, extremely well-prepared, talented, and a great person to have in your corner.

His videos on social media regularly had people praising him and declaring how they loved the work he was doing.

Unfortunately, tragedy will strike this talented and industrious young man during a practice session in June 2024.

According to friends and colleagues in the sport, Austin Behrens was involved in an accident at practice and succumbed to his injuries.

Jamie Marvin with A7 training eulogized him on Facebook, writing: “He was a staple at our track and loved teaching the kids. My condolences to his family and all that knew him. Rest in peace Austin you were an inspiration on and off the track,”

All over Facebook, other people in the motocross community listed their fondest memories of Behrens, proving indeed he was well-loved for his integrity, warmth, willingness to help and teach others, and other positive attributes.

One of the best tributes came from Cayden Ryder, who noted how Behrens was one of the only trainers he ever connected with.

“I’m a hard kid to work with and if you don’t connect with me I lose interest. Austin had a special place in my heart and I took to him well . We chased him at least two times a year where ever he was training. Austin would drop anything and always get in my in for privates or classes even when it was his off weekend. He never gave up on me and always believed me in . I appreciate you Austin for believing in me…” Ryder said.

Behrens will be sorely missed and hopefully, he is resting easy in the heavens and looking down at all those whose lives he positively impacted during his time on Earth.
