Angelo Little has been identified as the victim of the Columbia Mall shooting that occurred Saturday evening.
Howard County police were called to the Columbia Mall food court area in regards to an ongoing shooting around 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th.
Arriving officers found one deceased victim, identified as Angelo Little, 17, of Columbia MD.
Authorities believe he was targeted.
Following a preliminary investigation, authorities determined that the shooter had escaped the mall following the shooting.

The investigation is currently ongoing and Howard County police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The deceased, Angelo, was remembered by an acquaintance in the community.
“Very heartbreaking. Angelo was a student of my school community. Regardless of everyone’s opinions, we lost a youth in our community and it is truly heartbreaking. More importantly a mother lost her son. My sincere condolences and prayers go out to Angelo’s family,” Brittany Monique wrote on Facebook.
