The Duck Duck Jeep movement was started by Allison Parliament after as a way of feeling better after a scary and frightening encounter with someone, unwittingly starting a heartwarming trend that has swept North America and other parts of the world like crazy.

According to her website, the craze started during a visit by Parliament to Bancroft in Ontario where she ended up having a ‘frightening verbal and physical encounter’ with another person.

Later that same day, she felt the need to brighten someone else’s day so they don’t feel as sh*tty as she felt and bought a little yellow rubber duck which to gift another Jeep owner she encountered.

That simple act of kindness sparked the Duck Duck Jeep movement which has only grown stronger throughout the years.

Indeed, just a couple of days before her tragic passing Allison had shared a post on social media announcing a new partnership with OffGrid Accessories on creating an ‘Allison’ duck which they did a marvelous job of as she shared a prototype.

She was so excited by the development and promised more interesting things in the future for the lovers of her movement but fate had other plans, taking her away from this mortal plane.

Allison’s death reminds us of the principles behind the movement she started, kindness and love for each other and that is a legacy worth having.

Her memory would live on in the movement she started which remains stronger as ever and continues to make the lives of Jeep lovers everywhere much better with their concentration on making the world a better place, one little rubber duckie at a time.

May Allison Parliament rest in perfect peace.
