A man from Naples identified as Aaron Karp has been arrested and charged with murder following a shooting in Maine.
Karp, 47, was arrested on Thursday in connection to the July 30 shooting that killed one woman, Susan McHugh, and injured three others.
Four people were shot on the night in an incident that occurred in the area of 1155 Forest Ave Morrill’s Corner in Portland.
McHugh, 54, of Gray, died of her injuries.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on her and determined the cause of her death to be a gunshot wound and the manner of death to be a homicide.
Portland PD began their investigation which led to the arrest of Karp on Thursday. He is being held with no bond.
Of the three others injured, one was released from the hospital the night of the shooting while the other two have since been discharged from the hospital.
