A Virginia man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and felony child endangerment after shooting and killing a 19-year-old while holding a baby.
Nathaniel Lee Pridemore, 33, of Lynchburg VA, shot and killed Cash Guido, of Lynchburg, following an alleged road rage incident on Fairlea Court.
Police also found a deceased female at Pridemore’s residence in the 1400 block of Tunbridge Road during their investigation.
The Lynchburg Police Department were called to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Fairlea Court around 3:45 PM on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Upon arrival, an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police identified a suspect as Nathaniel Pridemore who was soon arrested.
As the investigation into this incident unfolded, it was determined that a welfare check at Pridemore’s residence was necessary. Upon conducting the welfare check in the 1400 block of Tunbridge Road, an adult female was found deceased.
According to Guido’s family, Pridemore shot and killed Cash while holding a baby.
