Four People Killed in Glenville Crash Identified

The Glenville Police Department has identified the four people who were killed during a fatal car crash that occurred Sunday on Amsterdam road.

The crash occurred when a Honda Accord traveling eastbound on Route 5 near Waters Road around 3:20 a.m. went airborne and struck several trees before landing in a ditch.

Four people died in the crash including three males and a female – Elijah Holmes, 24, Nyvon Irizarry, 25, Quiessence Irizarry, 24, and John Kemp, 24.

Police have not been able to identify who was actually driving the car due to the severity of the wreckage.

Glenville Police was assisted by the Schenectady and Saratoga County Sheriff’s Offices, Niskayuna, Scotia, Schenectady, and Rotterdam Police Departments, as well as the State Police.
