Who was Carley Elbert? Sewell Woman Killed by Gregg Page Near Atlantic City Boardwalk

A Philadelphia man, Gregg Page, has been arrested and charged with murder and other offenses in relation to the shooting of two women.

Carley Elbert, 32, from Sewell, and Kamille Stewart, 29, from Pleasantville, were found shot in the head around 4:41 a.m. on Thursday in the area of 60 North Main Avenue near the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Stewart survived while Elbert did not.

Two other men, brothers Ryan Schenck, 30, and Ramir Schenck, 27, both also from Philadelphia, were also charged with Hindering Apprehension in connection with the incident.

Page has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and associated weapons offenses.

Police were called around 4 a.m. Thursday to the address where they found two women with gunshot wounds.

Stewart was conscious but having multiple wounds and was transported to the AtlantiCare Medical Center.

Elbert was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Workers at the nearby Flagship Resort said surveillance video shows three men and two women going up on the Atlantic City Boardwalk around 2 a.m. Thursday.

About 15 minutes later, the three men can be seen leaving the area while the two women are nowhere to be found, according to the workers.⁠

Investigations led to the arrest of the three men in Philadelphia.

All three are in a Philadelphia Correctional Facility pending their extradition to New Jersey.⁠
