Ashlen Nicole Hawkins, 38, has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s office as the Oneonta woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Trussville Thursday morning.
According to the Trussville Police Department, the crash occurred just after 6 a.m. in the 5900 block of Deerfoot Parkway.
One person, Hawkins, suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 38-year-old was a resident of Oneonta.

The second driver, a man, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The Trussville Police Department’s traffic unit is investigating the crash.
